Dance Department Friday Forum: Fleeta Siegal

The Dance department welcomes Fleeta Siegal as part of the Sheron Wray residency through the UW Arts Institute. Siegal is a multi-faceted media practitioner and will present about his work with Wray on the innovative ‘Texterritory,' which uses mobile phones and SMS technology to allow interactions between the audience and performer.

On Fridays during the academic year, the Dance Department presents a dance or arts-related forum, bringing the UW-Madison community and the local community presentations, panel discussions, auditions, showings, and much more.

On March 16, the department welcomes Fleeta Siegal as part of the Sheron Wray residency through the UW Arts Institute. Siegal is a multi-faceted media practitioner and will present about his work with Wray on the innovative ‘Texterritory,' which uses mobile phones and SMS technology to allow interactions between the audience and performer.

The Dance Department's Friday Forums are free, unticketed, open to the public in the Margaret H'Doubler Performance Space at 3:30 p.m.
